Bridlington > Bed & Breakfast (B&B) > Shearwater Hotel

Shearwater Guest House is ideally situated for the North Beach, Town Centre, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars and Nightclubs, Train and Bus stations all approximately a 10 minute walk, whilst being far enough away to offer a peaceful and tranquil setting. For those who enjoy walking, there are coastal footpaths which can take you as far around the local coastline as you might desire. For the majority though, Bridlington's promenades are long enough, they lead from the very north of the town near Sewerby Village to Belvedere which is in the very south of Bridlington. For those who would prefer not to walk the full length of Bridlington's beaches there are land trains which serve both the north and south beaches in season. You will find plenty to do in and around Bridlington, with its blue flag sandy beaches; we also have an indoor leisure centre Bridlington Leisure World with swimming pool, and at the Bridlington Forum a bowling alley and cinema. For an enjoyable day out why not visit Sewerby Hall and Gardens, play a round of golf on the 9 hole pitch and putt, a great day out for all of the family ! Or have a family fun day out at John Bull Rock where you can watch rock being made and there is also a children's play area. We also cater for all events at the newly refurbished Spa Theatre. A 15 minute walk will take you to the South side where you can look around the Bridlington harbour, watch the fishing boats being unloaded or sit and relax at one of the harbour cafés, or you could take a trip out to sea on the pleasure boats that operate throughout the season, a trip on the Yorkshire Belle goes to Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs, or it is a 15 minute car ride with lovely views and a must for ornithologists to see the many different birds nesting on the cliffs. Also worth a visit is the historic old town; for its characteristic architecture, tea rooms, restaurants, public houses and shops. Along with the historic Priory church and the Bayle Museum, the Old Town really has so much to offer in such a small area it should not be missed. Please note we do not take hen or stag parties.
