Diane and Roy extend a warm welcome to you from The Tennyson guest house Bridlington. We have recently been the awarded the accolade of highly commended by the AA inspection team. Centrally situated just a leisurely stroll from Leisure World, the town centre, harbour, The Spa and the north beach. The railway station and coach park are a short taxi ride away and bus station is just around the corner. We do not have a licence to sell beer wines and spirits. However there are a number of bars often with live entertainment within easy reach.We are ideally located for those who wish to enjoy the local walking, bird watching, fishing trips, golf clubs, and for touring the Wolds and Heartbeat country'. Or use us as a base to explore further a field. The North York Moors, Leeds, York and Hull are all within an easy drive.Local golf clubs run a golf passport scheme offering 3 or 4 games of golf at a significant discount. Further details are available on request.Our seven en-suite rooms have all been carefully prepared with your comfort in mind, some of which can cater for families. Facilities include:- Colour TV with freeview, Teacoffee facilities, table top fridge, Hair Dryer, Alarm Clock, Access to an iron and ironing board, On street Parking is available within the towns controlled parking zone.We cater for our four legged friends allthough there is an additional charge of £10.00 per stay. Please note that we are a strictly non smoking establishment.A cot and high chair are available at a small additional charge which covers the hire and laundry.After a good nights sleep, whether you are with us for business or pleasure, start the day with a hearty home cooked breakfast, or if you prefer some cereal and toast, or perhaps a combination? Our bacon and sausages are both bought from local butchers. Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 9.30am. Earlier breakfasts by arrangement. If you are planning a day out we will be happy to put together a value for money packed lunch for you to enjoy along your travels.

The South - Road: From the South: M1M18M62 to Howden, then A614 through the Wolds to Bridlington Follow the signs to the North Beach and the junction with the A165 Scarborough Road.Follow the A165 to the north side of town until you come to a double roundabout, follow the signs to Flamborough Head along Marton Road. At the next roundabout turn right along Sewerby Heads, Straight across the next roudabout under the viaduct. You will find Tennyson Avenue on the right just past Trinity Church.The North - Road: From the North: A1 to A19.Then the A166 (inland route) or A171A165 (coastal route).Follow the A165 to the north side of town until you come to a double roundabout, follow the signs to Flamborough Head along Marton Road. At the next roundabout turn right along Sewerby Heads, follow the signs for South Beach and City Centre. Straight across the next round about into Forty Foot, under the railway viaduct, look for Trinity Church on the left.
